PRODUCTS
Diamond Whites works to provide you with the best results possible however our results are not guaranteed and can vary. We will not guarantee a successful treatment outcome for all our customers.
The 3D treatment plan we provide is an estimation of what is possible based on the impressions/scans and information we gather during our assessment. In some cases further refinement treatment may be required to further improve results, in which there may be additional costs if required.
Diamond Whites is not responsible for any defects or damages that are caused by misuse, mistreatment or neglect of its products by the user or others.
As well as any defects that are caused by failure to follow directions including (but not limited to) wearing aligners out of sequence not wearing aligners for the entire duration of the specified wear schedule, or wearing aligners for less than 22 hours per day
DISPOSING OF ALIGNERS
We advise our patients not to dispose or discard of any of their alignersd until they have completed their plan in full.
On occasion specific aligner steps are may be required during treatment, if they are no longer available replacement will need to be purchased by the patient incurring further cost.
IMPRESSIONS
We do our best to provide detailed guidance on how to take your own impressions however at times impressions received back by the lab may be deemed unusable. Please ensure you take the time to follow the instructions as Diamond Whites will charge £25 for a new Impression Kit.
CANCELATIONS
HOME IMPRESSION KITS are sent out within 24 hours and due to the nature of the product and for hygiene reasons we do not accept returns.
Our aligners are considered a customised medical device and once these have been purchased and placed into production a cancellation is no longer possible. Once purchased the Aligners will be provided and all fees paid will be held without the possibility for refund.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made in multiple ways via our website, we offer a single payment or finance option. Your details will be provided to third party payment providers to process this payment. Credit Checks will be undertaken if the finance is chosen.
RISKS
Treatment plans with Diamond Whites has been proven to be successfull however with every form of orthodontics there are certain risks involved which need to be seriously considered before undertaking treatment.
The main risks are as follows:
- A lack of compliancy, poor oral hygiene may lengthen treatment time.
- When wearing aligners some discomfort may be experienced. This should pass after the first few days.
- Teeth and jaw structure naturally change throughout our lives. Only retainers will minimise further movement. Failure to comply with wearing a retainer after treatment may result in tooth movement, sometimes back to their original position (relapse).
- Each aligner must be worn full time and only removed when eating or brushing teeth. Tooth decay is possible if the patient is not careful when consuming sugary foods and drinks.
CONSENT
By purchasing our aligners you are agreeing to the above facts and the following statements:
I understand that the movement of my teeth can not be predicted perfectly.
I understand that Diamond Whites, Dentist or creditor cannot accept liability on any risks or if I wish to terminate the treatment.
I understand that long term retention is absolutely necessary as not wearing a retainer will make relapse of teeth more likely.
